OMNIVIS 2007
The Seventh Workshop on
Omnidirectional Vision, Camera Networks and Non-classical Cameras
OMNIVIS `2007 is the 7th workshop on omnidirectional vision, camera networks, and non-classical cameras that will be held in conjunction with ICCV'2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The OMNIVIS'2007 Workshop continues a series of workshops on omnidirectional vision started in 2000 (see history below). The aim of the Workshop is to bring together researchers interested in networked, distributed, and omnidirectional vision. Contributions are sought on new and original research on any aspect of omnidirectional vision and camera networks, including novel sensor design, panoramic vision applications, and scalable algorithms for large camera networks. All papers will be subject to a double-blind review process which will be carried out by experient researchers in the field.
| December 20, 2007 | The Call for Papers for the Special Issue of COMPUTER VISION AND IMAGE UNDERSTANDING on Omnidirectional Vision, Camera Networks and Non-conventional Cameras has been announced. You can see it in here. |
| August 31, 2007 | The program of OMNIVIS'2007 is available in here |
| August 3, 2007 | Due to a slight delay in the review process, the notifications to authors will be sent on August 7. We apologize for the inconvenience. |
| July 10, 2007 | Due to the delay in starting the ICCV rebuttal phase, the paper submission deadline has been postponed to July 16, 2007. The submission site will close at 12:00 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). |

All submissions will be handled electronically. Your article must adhere to the same ICCV 2007 layout specifications as papers submitted to the main conference (except for the summary page that is not required for OMNIVIS). Please refer to ICCV 2007 relevant webpage for instructions on the submission format.
Papers accepted for OMNIVIS will be allocated 6 pages in the proceedings, with the option of purchasing up to 2 extra pages for $100 per page (to be paid after paper acceptance at the time of registration for the conference.) So, if you are unwilling or unable to pay the extra charge you should limit yourself to 6 pages.
The review process is double-blind. Authors do not know the names of the reviewers of their papers. Likewise, reviewers do not know the names of the authors. Please refer to ICCV 2007 relevant webpage for instructions on how to preserve anonymity. Also remember to avoid information that may identify the authors in the acknowledgements (e.g. co-workers and grant IDs).
Dual submissions with ICCV are explicitly allowed, with the understanding that if the paper gets accepted to ICCV, it will automatically be withdrawn from OMNIVIS. The ICCV rebuttal phase will be before OMNIVIS submission, so authors will have the opportunity to submit a (possibly revised) version of their ICCV submission to OMNIVIS after seeing their ICCV reviews. Dual submissions with ICCV must be clearly identified as such in an additional cover page with the ICCV paper number. In case the OMNIVIS submission is different from ICCV submission, a list of changes should be included (in case both version get reviewed by the same person).
